Franklin House Phase 2 – Public Consultation (Now Closed)
Brooke Smith Planning is working on behalf of Franklin House (Bournville) Company Limited towards the preparation of a full planning application for the proposed development of the car park
site located on the corner of Franklin Way and Mary Vale Road.
The proposals seek the redevelopment of the site to create approximately 37 apartments that have been sensitively designed to acknowledge the site’s location within the Bournville Village Conservation Area, whilst the scale and mass of the proposals has been given careful consideration to acknowledge the site’s existing setting.
Parking is also to be provided at lower ground level consisting of approximately 32 spaces, with 5 further spaces provided to the Mary Vale Road frontage, providing a total of 37 spaces providing 1 space for every apartment.
A public consultation event is taking place on Saturday 14th November between 10a
m and 2pm at The Centenary Suite within The Cadbury Club which is adjacent to the site. All are welcome to attend and view the full set of drawings providing details of the proposed development.
